Who is Courtney Renee'?
Thank you again for visiting Beauty by Courtney Renee'! While traveling near and far for the majority of my clients, my services are based in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
As a specialist in a wide range of makeup application techniques, I will work with you to achieve the perfect look! From the “everyday beat,” to evening glam, to everything bridal, and all your special occasions, I promise to ensure you leave feeling fierce, fabulous and absolutely beautiful!
My mission to my clients is to use makeup techniques to enhance their natural beauty, allowing them to see themselves in a way they may not have imagined. When you come to Beauty by Courtney Renee, the goal is to make sure you leave feeling more beautiful, more powerful and more confident than before you walked through the door!
In addition to my basic knowledge of makeup, my specialties include color blending, creating flawless complexions, and achieving the perfect ombre’ lip! I also have adequate experience in many different areas including proms, photoshoots and fashion events.
I've also found a love for motivating and uplifting individuals through the use of makeup and beauty.
The Beginning
From a young age, I have always loved all things beauty. I picked up my first tube of lipstick at three years old and have been doing face masks while soaking in the bath since the fourth grade! However, adulthood hit me hard and I wasn't as confident as I was before. I had to learn to love me again and makeup played a major part in that.
Doing my makeup became therapy for me, and a great way to pass the time during the COVID quarantine. I began taping tutorials and uploading them to Instagram as way to keep track of my different looks as well as my progress. After a few months, I started to notice how interested people were in me doing makeup for them. I was so shocked and so flattered!
During my beginning sessions and through conversations with my clients, I realized how many people were battling "adulthood" as I was. It became a therapy session for the both of us! From laughs to tears, I've been through it all with my clients - but the most rewarding part is seeing their reactions once their "beat" was complete.
Being able to play a small part in making them feel better than they did before they walked in from the inside out became my passion! From that passion, my love for the art grew even larger and Beauty by Courtney Renee’ was established in January 2021.
The Future
As Beauty by Courtney Renee’ continues to flourish, my future goal is to grow my business to service a wide variety of clientele from the local prom queens to blushing brides to celebrity consumers.
In tandem, I aspire to continue empowering others through the power of makeup and also by helping them create their own perfect look easily and efficiently.
My long term goal is to establish a pipeline for the personal and professional growth of young, aspiring makeup artists, hair stylists and estheticians. These growth opportunities would include but are not limited to schooling and education, financial literacy and a step by step path on how to successfully grow a beauty empire.
